What Is The Market Value of Your Blog?
January 22, 2007 | By Gobala Krishnan | No Comments »
Ever wondered how much you can sell your blog for?
I did. I’m doing a business proposal for a blog network, and found one commonly used way to valuate blogs. It’s based on the Technorati API, and sample calculations fro the AOL takeover of WebLogsInc.
It’s not exactly accurate, but it’s worth a shot.
According to the calculator, this blog is worth $111,214. Wow ![]()

My blog is worth $111,214.38.

Got something to say?

Hi,
This is quite helpful for all who have just started blogging.
Can you give us some examples on how to connect
blog content with links and other useful information?
a couple of years ago I was reluctant to start blogging due to the warning that a blog was not created to promote products. Now it seems to be
the exact opposite. I hope I am making myself clear.
Regards,
T Lowery
Hi Thelma,
I guess so, but then again a few years back most bloggers were just talking about their cat and what they did yesterday. Today even Fortune 500 companies use blogs aggressively.
