One penny is a 2 column, fixed width theme with widget support. It has a right sidebar and a light colour scheme, with a simple blog title header and easy to use, bold navigation. It has a crisp, clean feel to it, and is very easy to use and navigate.

It’s main advantages are a fast loading time, although the Wordpress Widgets somewhat slow it down, and a simple, clean design which will appeal to most, if not all, of your readers.

Based on the original K2 Kubrick theme for Wordpress, Black Minimalism is a simple, dark, one column theme for Wordpress 2.0. Consisting of a dark grey and black background with a subtle pattern, and a white blog area with modern, rounded corners.

Kubrick’s gradiant has been replaced by a green photo, and the navigation is now part of a thin bar over the picture, with the sidebar completely gone. The code is valid to W3C XHTML 1.0 standards and works in Firefox and Opera. The only downside? Like many fantastic creations, it fails to work in Internet Explorer.
