Podpress – Mega Podcasting Plugin For Wordpress
Here’s one reason why I love Wordpress: the plugins.
And as far as plugins go, there’s the tiny ones, the average ones, and what I call the “Mega Plugin”. Mega plugins are not your average plugins. They integrate, change and completely reconfigure your basic Wordpress blog.
One such Mega Plugin is Podpress by Dan Kuyendall at Mighty Seek. Podpress is a complete podcasting solution and it’s available for free. All you need to do is to upload the folder and activate the plugin.
Everything else just installs itself. Here’s a screenshot of the player settings, where you can customize how your audio players looks like:
With Podpress you can easily adjust the podcasting setting on your Wordpress blog, including the ability to generate iTunes feeds and complete tracking and stats.

Podpress is the main plugin I use on this blog for podcasting, videocasting and even to track PDF files. Yes, it can do all these things!
If you’re doing that, you may also want to consider donating to the plugin developer. I see many WP developers that get paid close to nothing for all their efforts, and it’s sad when talent goes unrewarded.
