Plugin: Download Monitor

Easily handle uploads, downloads, links and hits with the new Wordpress Download Monitor Plugin from Mike Jolley. The plugin helps keep your website downloads organised, providing means to monitor the amount of downloads a file has, along with an easy method of linking to those files using its own tags.

Features for the plugin include an admin page for uploading/linking to downloads and specifying information such as title and version, template tags for showing popular, recent and random downloads in your site’s sidebar, post tags for outputting download links and a drop down menu in non rich text Wordpress editor for adding links. Of course the features don’t just end there, but I’ll allow you to figure the rest out yourself.
