New PayDotCom Widget For Your Blog

Today I kicked the BlogRush widget in the ass (i.e removed it completely from this blog) and instead replaced it with something that can really increase my profit: the new PayDotCom widget.

No mumbo-jumbo promises or hype. It’s really simple to understand:

  1. You put the widget on your blog – works on any blog platform
  2. The widget rotates the top products based on the categories you’ve selected
  3. All the links are embedded with your Paydotcom ID
  4. When someone clicks and buys a product, you get a commission
  5. Comes in a dozen or so colors to match any blog

You can signup with PayDotCom for free, and start using this widget right away.

Hopefully it does not take time to loan on the page. WidgetBucks’s widget used to be very heavy so I removed that as well.

@ Gobala: looks good, might have to give this a spinn too.

@ LiC: I haven’t noticed any slow loading on this site. I think the MyBlogLog widget is actually worse. Has anybody else come to this conclusion too?

Well, if the big Kahuna says so, let’s give it a try. :)
Are you writing this while on vacation Gobala?

@ Kay: the big Kahuna, LOL, that is too funny. What makes you think he is on holidays? ;-)

Do you think MyBlogLog is the culprit? I am really concerned about the load speed and I like MyBlogLog widget but won’t mind to remove it off if it is the culprit.

I’m going to take a look at this closely, since it comes well recommended and looks innovative.

Interesting the discussion on load times. For my own blogs I have found MyBlogLog to be one of the worst load time wasters out there, but YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary).

Instead of guessing, use the free, no sign-up, no nonsense tool at:
    http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
Chances are you’ll be suprised at what is and isn’t making your pages load slow … and this tool couldn’t be simpler, even draws everything out in pretty colored graphs.

    Thanks for this tool Dave,

after checking it out, MyBlogLog does not affect much on my site Some plugins such as polls, user online, post ratings do slow loading time.
