this is something i wouldnt use the moment i did the trial i thought how dodgy i have to enter my email address AND password…no way…

This is a great marketing tip, I actually saw one of these on one of my merchant’s sites and am now using it on my a couple of my blogs. I think this is especially good for niche sites, people always share a good find with friends and family.

Awesome share Gobala. Just what I was looking for my blog. I love the whole facebook style tell-a-friend idea. I think it great. I’m testing a similar script on my landing pages and its have boost my opt-in rates, this kind of script is awesome in driving traffic to your landing pages or your blog.

However I have heard there are ways to get conventional tell-a-friend approved if you don’t have an Aweber opt-in form on the same page….
That really precludes most blogs who have an opt-in mechanism of some kind on every page.

I have written about various scripts similar to this a number of times, most of which are much more powerful because they enable incentivised offers based upon various requirements.

My gmail account is effectively the keys to half my online business. If I wouldn’t be willing to hand over those keys, why would I encourage my visitors to do the same?

Wow I love this idea, it looks like a great way to get some more free marketing from my visitors. One of the great things about having a base of internet marketers as my readers is I get a good amount of free exposure of social networks

I use them for my email, why would they care if i use this?

I love this idea, but when I tried to open an account with them, their site would *not* accept the human verification code (similar to Capcha).

I entered the codes correctly, time after time, and got repeated error messages. I have emailed their support. We’ll see what happened.
