You are pretty right. In fact, I have noticed that such blogs have tiny communities among themselves..So, even if you are the kind that only receives 150 odd visitors everyday, you still manage to have higher engagement, higher commenting etc..

I like Maki and his blog too, though I don’t think I’ve ever left a comment there. He comes across as very genuine, with a lot of integrity.

Things could be a lot worse with the groupies – at least they’ve not started throwing knickers at John Chow yet like Tom Jones fans used to do
