Coupons Can Save You Tons Of Money

Did you ever hear about online coupons? If you haven’t, then this post is for you. I got used so much to buy stuff with coupons that I thought it would benefit some of our Easy WordPress readers here as well.

coupons

As a business owner I have no problem with paying for the tools I need. After all, I do run a business and that means there are certain costs I can’t do without.

But who is to say that we always have to pay full price if we can save a dollar here and there. I’m sure you agree that a couple of dollars saved every now and then will add up at the end of the year. They could pay for a great software, or even for a brand new computer over time.

Either way, there are so many now that offer coupons and yet many bloggers still don’t know this. For your convenience I have listed some common sites which accept coupons below that are helpful for bloggers.

GoDaddy Coupons

GoDaddy: I think it is safe to say that GoDaddy is the world’s most respected domain name registrar. They also offer hosting/domain packages but to be honest don’t waste your time with that. They suck. But their domain name service is next to none and I recommend to use GoDaddy for any domain name you can.

Note: .com.au domain names can’t be bought through GoDaddy. They need to be purchased through an Australian registrar and cost a lot more too.

A normal .com domain name with GoDaddy is $9.99/year but with coupons you can get them as cheap as $6.95/year. All you need to do to find active coupons is enter GoDaddy+coupons into Google.

The results will be many fold and you will have to sort through them, but generally the most promising deals are on the first results page.

Hostgator Coupons

Hostgator is my hosting site and I love them. I have never ever had an issue with them and their live support really rocks. Plus they offer a sweet deal with $7.95/month hosting accounts. If you elect to pay for upfront for a longer period, you will save even more money. Right now, you will save 20% of the total bill with their spring sale.

This particular sale expires 1st May 2008 but they always have some deals going on.

To find them visit the Hostgator site directly, or else do a Google search for Hostgator+coupons.

TDNAM Coupons

TDNAM is GoDaddy’s aftermarket domain name service and allows you to buy pre-owned domains. If you are a serious niche marketer, then this can quickly amount to some serious expense (which of course you will make back ten fold). But why not buy these domains with a reduced price tag too? You can save up to 20% on your bill which can mean $20 for every $100 your spend.

To find active coupons again visit Google and do a search for tdnam+coupons.

If you don’t see it, search for it

Basically these three examples are only a few of the many available bargains online. In the future, when you are inclined to buy something make sure to check first whether there is a coupon available for it.

A dead giveaway for this is if there is an empty field at checkout that says “enter your coupon code here”.

Hopefully this will help some of you save some money in the future.

Ah man, you’re letting my secret out of the bag. Just kidding, I’m sure lots of people know about this. I didn’t even think about doing this until not to long ago and now everytime I make a purchase online, and there’s an opportunity to enter a coupon code at checkout, I open a new browser window and do some google searching for a coupon code. It’s a no-brainer.

@ Bryan: Uuh Oh, mmmhhh, errp…ok, glad you agree in the end. :-) You might be surprised how many people don’t know about this.

For experienced bloggers this is a given, but for noobies it ain’t.
