Consider Linking from Linked In

Most of us know by know that incoming links are good for our blogs and websites. But what do we do to build them? For starters, we need a lot of links to make a difference and those links should preferably be from higher ranking sites to carry any weight. In the end, it really doesn’t matter as long as we build links as an ongoing basis. One high ranking site that not only provides us with the opportunity to just do this is Linked In.

Linked In

Linked In allows us to sign up for free and forge new important online contacts. It is a social networking site that can be used to network, find jobs, post jobs, find old school buddies and friends and most important we can post our business profile that will potentially be seen by thousands or more people.

Here are some suggestions on how Linked In can help you in your business:

  • You can present yourself and showcase your experience and professional capabilities
  • Linked In helps you to find and reconnect with old colleagues and classmates
  • Use and leverage powerful tools to help you find the people you need
  • Allows you to build a powerful network of trusted professionals
  • Enables you to discover professional relationships and opportunities
  • You can tap into insider information and connections
  • You will get the edge that gives you a real and competitive advantage

QandA

Millions of business professionals are using Linked In already and if you haven’t done so already, you might want to sign up and add your profile. I have only recently done this myself after neglecting the process for months. You know how it is when we see something thinking cool “that looks great”, I’ll have to do this soon – and then we totally forget about it.

Who can see your Profile?

Once you forge connections within your admin panel, only 3 degrees of your personal contacts can see your name and public profile. Linked In users outside your network can only see limited information about you without your name.

Your email address will only be displayed to your direct connections.

Linked In also tries to keep spam to a minimum and personally I haven’t received spam yet.

There is also an option to choose a Premium Linked In account for $19.95/month or even more expensive options such as a Pro account. In my eyes you won’t ever need this unless you are wanting to do some serious networking within Linked In.

If you feel that this is a social networking platform you’d like to utilize, then feel free to read the FAQ on the following link with Linked In.

Hopefully this will help somebody to expand their network

Take care for now
