Comments on: Brian’s Threaded Comments Plugin

Honestly, this comment box and the image of the comment box above showing the nested comments do not look at all alike. I installed Brian’s on my blog and it came out looking like this one I’m typing into, with all the hints of html code, not like the boxes above. I find all this code (below) distracting and visually unappealing. So I uninstalled the plugin.

Yes it seems that they have. Thats always the problem with free wp plugins, eventually they are abandoned by the person who created them.

I am not Techinally Savvvy but i think this guys has fixed some of the bug of Brian Comment sytem

@ Dino: thanks for the heads up. I actually know this and do this on purpose. It is for the benefit of all the readers to find out easily whom I’m talking to.

Yes, with the threaded comments we can see this but since most of us are scanner when we read, it makes for faster reading and comprehension.

You could have just clicked on reply to this comment instead of adding @dunn at the first word of your comment. That’s what this plugin is for.

I haven’t tried it yet, but the following site appear addresses Brian’s Threaded Comments and states that it allows for the avatars…

@ Dunn: I’m not sure to be honest as I’m having the same problem in my own blog too. I figure it must be interfering with another Plugin, because it works here on Gobala’s blog.

Maybe one of our more technically savvy readers would know this.

I found this post and it got my interest. But after I installed the Brian’s Threaded Comment plugin, my Avatar in comment is not showing anymore.
What should I do to fix this? I’ve tried to leave comment in Brian’s page, but the comment is closed already.
