    sort of related perhaps some of you seo experts can help!? but i’m trying to investigate why do search terms rank differently on diff countries google searches? for example when i search for ‘leer duiken hurghada’ (learn diving hurghada) on google.com i come on the first page but when i search google.nl for the same term i am way down on page 7 !!!!!????

    A lot of it has to do with the IP address of your server, thats how Google determines which search region to put you in. Another factor is the amount of links pointing to your site, are they all from a specific country / region? You can improve your geo-targeting by using Google Webmaster Tools

    thanks i changed the geographic location to our main market along with verifying the site and adding the sitemap to google, shame you cant add more than one geographic target though!

    you might want to consider switching to a .nl domain and hosting="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/hostgator-bs:keywords">hosting it on a Netherlands located server if you are targeting the NL/Dutch speaking market (as far as I understood that’s what you do right?)
