5 Other Uses for MyBlogLog

Besides getting to see the faces of your readers on your sidebar and adding other bloggers to your friends list, what can you use MyBlogLog.com for?

Here are 5 suggestions:

  • Find Contributors – Browse other people’s blogs and find suitable co-bloggers or contributors to your blog. Then, add these people as co-authors and an invitation email will be sent to them. If they accept, your blog will also be displayed in their profile thus bringing more traffic for both parties.
  • Exchange Blogrolls – Find other blogs with similar rankings to yours, and message the blogger to request a blogroll exchange
  • Create Blog Memes – Find other bloggers that you can get involved in your blog meme. While blog memes are a good idea to build some incoming links to your blog and get some new RSS subscribers, it only works when you tag other bloggers who post regularly.
  • Broadcast Latest News – Once a few people have joined your community, you can always broadcast a message to your entire community easily. This is a one-click process and your messages displayed on your community members’ pages will also be seen by new visitors to that page
  • Find a Life Partner – Forget dating sites. Here you can find soul mates that are intelligent and share the same passion as you do. Hint: organize “blogger parties” and invite the girls only. Beware profiles that are too sexy, it probably belongs to a guy!

Well, MyBlogLog.com is really useful after all!

Now that MyBlogLog has tags for people and blogs netwroking is so much easier. Adding a search by location would be cool like StumbleUpon has. I agree that MyBlogLog is great for networking and finding Guest Bloggers.

I’m definitely interesed in finding blogs to add to my blogroll and visa versa. I’m also interested in finding contributors to my blog.

Do I need to start a new blog or can I just link to my current blog, http://www.TotalCommunicationsCoach.com/blog which by the way, uses wordpress? I’m not a geek and am confused about how to do all this.

Thanks for whatever help you can give me!
